Written evidence on Investigatory Powers Bill to the British Parliament's Science and Technology Committee

IT-Political Association of Denmark has submitted written evidence (consultation response) to the British Parliament's Science and Technology Committee. See their call for written evidence here.

The Investigatory Powers Bill (IP Bill) contains a proposal for internet connection records (ICRs). This part of the IP Bill is quite similar to the session logging data retention scheme which was used in Denmark from 2007 until 2014 when it was repealed for lack of effectiveness.
